These chapters contain many lessons for us. Noah and his family are saved during the flood. In this we see the following:
- Sin must be dealt with by God
- God displays grace by saving these 8 people while carrying out His justice
- Noah and his family were still sinners as witnessed by his drunkenness and the pride of his in building the Tower of Babel
We also see in these chapters the establishment of the nations by God. When he disburses them at the tower of Babel, we have the creation of different languages.
